Keeping an average interval for oil change warrants the best performance of your car. Oil on the car likened the blood on your body or it is the most important thing for your engine life. There are other contributing factors that may affect your decision for an earlier new replacement of oil. But some specialists say that old automobiles are still in the running for a 5000 km. Other vehicles can even get to the 10.000 km.
A general advice by experts though is an oil replacement for every 5,000 miles run. That is, according to them, their best estimate to keep the engine running for long years. It may be too short a mile for most car owners, but ideal for several people.
Do not take risks as it may do you more harm than good. It is better to spend a little of your time and money on car maintenance for a favorable outcome. This may even benefit you in the long run.
